You can print shipping labels on a Zebra if you have 4×6 thermal stock. Load the roll, open the free label maker, set 4×6, and print with Browser Print. Official postage still comes from USPS, UPS, FedEx, Pirate Ship, or Shopify. This is the pack face and ship-to layout you control.

How to print the first shipping label on a Zebra

1. Load 4×6 labels

Open the printer, drop in a 4×6 direct-thermal roll, close the door, press Feed until a full label comes out clean. Model guides: ZD420, ZD421, GK420d.

2. Install Zebra Browser Print

3. Open free label software

Open https://app.mylabelmaker.com. No signup. Set the artboard to 4 × 6 and DPI to match your printer (usually 203).

4. Design or import ship-to data

Either:

• Single label: type the recipient address and tracking barcode yourself.
• Batch: export orders as CSV, map {{name}}, {{address1}}, {{city}}, {{state}}, {{zip}}, {{tracking}}, then print the rows.

5. Print and stick

Select the Zebra in the printer menu, print, stick the label on a flat package face. Avoid seams and curved edges that warp barcodes.

USPS

PDF labels vs native ZPL

Many platforms download a PDF. You can print that PDF to a Zebra if the printer is installed as a Windows or Mac printer and scaled to 4×6, but scaling issues are common. Native thermal design (this editor to ZPL or Browser Print) avoids a tiny label in the corner of a page and keeps barcodes at the correct DPI.
