How to create labels from Google Sheets
- In Google Sheets: File, Share, Publish to the web. Pick the tab. Choose comma-separated values (.csv). Copy the link.
- Open https://app.mylabelmaker.com. No signup. Set the label size.
- Click column names onto text and a barcode. Paste the published CSV URL.
- Preview a row. Check the rows for this run. Print this for one. Print for the stack.
That is the shared-list job. Someone in the office updates bins in Google. You are at the printer. You should not wait on an emailed workbook.
Publish to the web as CSV. A share link is not enough
Google's normal share link is for people, not for a CSV fetch. Publish to the web makes a public CSV URL for that tab. Anyone with the link can read those cells, so do not publish a sheet with private addresses if that bothers you. For a bin map or a product list, it is the usual way.
Pick the right tab. If you publish the wrong sheet, the column names will not match what you clicked onto the label. After you publish, copy the link and paste it in Variables. When someone adds ten rows, load the URL again before you print.
Why Google Sheets labels do not need ZebraDesigner
ZebraDesigner 3 does not connect to Google Sheets. Essentials cannot merge a spreadsheet at all. Professional 3 can use Excel or CSV on a Windows PC, not a live Sheet. You would export, copy the file, and re-link. Here you publish CSV and paste the URL. That is why mylabelmaker is the better choice when the list still lives in Google.
