How to mail merge labels
- Open https://app.mylabelmaker.com. No signup.
- Set the label size. For addresses, a 2x1 or 4x6 is common. Match your stock.
- Click column names onto the label: {{name}}, {{street}}, {{city}}, or {{sku}}.
- Load Excel, a CSV, or a published Google Sheet. Preview two rows.
- Check the rows. Print this reprints one. Print sends the merge.
Word mail merge was built for a Letter page of address labels. A thermal printer wants one label, then the next. That is the whole reason this exists.
Mail merge labels from Excel, without the Word table
In Word you pick an Avery product, wrestle the table, hope the barcode font scans, then send the page to a laser. Here you design one label at the real size. Click name, street, and city onto the lines. Load the workbook. Each row is its own label on the roll.
You can merge more than addresses. Product names. Lunch-box names from a class roster. SKUs on a barcode. A QR that opens a different link per row. Same idea: one design, every row.

Click each header onto its line. Keep a return address as plain text if it never changes. Only the fields that change need a column.
Why mylabelmaker is the better choice than Word mail merge
Word does not know your Zebra's DPI. A barcode font in a table often will not scan. You cannot preview row 47 without printing a test page. Here you flip rows under the label, scan a test, then print the ones you checked. Mac and Windows. No signup.

Yes. Click the SKU or ID column onto a real barcode, not an Excel font. CODE128 is the usual shop code.
Is this the same as Word mail merge?
Same idea, one design and every row, on a real-size label instead of a Word table. Better for thermal printers and barcodes that need to scan.
When you are ready to print or save
If a Zebra is plugged in, print from the browser. Set 203, 300, or 600 DPI to match the printer. On a regular printer, choose Print from this computer. You can also download a PNG, a PDF, or the ZPL code a Zebra reads. Save a JSON file if you want to open this label again later, spreadsheet included.
