Batch print labels on Zebra printers from Excel or CSV
Batch printing is the difference between clicking Print 200 times and generating an entire SKU list or ship-day roster in one pass. US warehouses, Amazon prep centers, and multi-channel sellers use CSV/Excel → Zebra every day. Here is the free browser workflow with mylabelmaker.
What you need
- Zebra desktop (ZD420, ZD421, GK420d, ZP450, etc.) + Browser Print
- Spreadsheet with one row per label (headers in row 1)
- Free editor: app.mylabelmaker.com
Step-by-step batch print
- Export Excel or Google Sheets as CSV UTF-8.
- Open mylabelmaker and set label size (4×6 shipping, 2×1 product, 3×2 bin, etc.) and DPI to match the printer.
- Design the layout once — static logos + variable fields.
- Place tokens that match your headers:
{{name}},{{sku}},{{barcode}},{{address1}},{{city}},{{state}},{{zip}}. - Paste or import CSV under Variables. Preview row by row.
- Print the selection (or all rows) to the Zebra via Browser Print.
Header names must match tokens. If the sheet says
SKU, use {{SKU}} (or rename the column). Spaces in headers are fine if tokens match exactly.Popular US batch jobs

Why not ZebraDesigner mail-merge alone?
ZebraDesigner works on Windows with licenses for advanced features. mylabelmaker is free, runs on Mac, and keeps variable data in the browser — useful for teams that already live in spreadsheets. Comparison: free Zebra label software.
Official carrier postage barcodes must come from USPS/UPS/FedEx or your rate platform. Batch design is for layouts and data you control — address faces, SKUs, bins, pack notes.
