Zebra prints only half the label

Half-printed faces are almost always a width or gap-sense mismatch: the printer thinks the stock is narrower than it is, or the job width is wrong. Set the artboard to the real roll, calibrate, print one. Open the free label maker to do it now.
Good to know: A dirty platen can also “eat” one side. Clean before you blame software.
How to fix a half-printed Zebra label
- Open https://app.mylabelmaker.com. No signup.
- Set the label size to the exact width and length of the roll in the printer.
- Calibrate the gap or black-mark sensor if you just changed stock.
- Print one test label. Do not send a whole stack until the full face prints.
Software width vs printer width
If the Windows driver says 4x6 and the roll is 2x1, you get a sliver. Set the artboard in the free label maker to the roll in the printer, then print one test.
Print the rest
When the test looks right, print the run from the same design. Save a JSON copy so you can open it again later.
