Zebra printer WiFi not working. Then print

Published: · 3 min read · How-to
Do this in the free app: app.mylabelmaker.com. No signup. Design the label, then print on a Zebra or download PNG / PDF / ZPL.

Zebra printer WiFi not working usually means the radio joined the wrong SSID, the IP changed, or Windows still talks USB. Fix the network, then send one test from the free label maker over Browser Print.

Good to know: Browser Print talks to printers the helper can see (USB or the same LAN). It does not configure your access point.

How to fix Zebra printer WiFi and print a test

  1. Print a printer config label (feed + cancel, or the setup utility) and read the IP and SSID.
  2. Confirm the computer is on the same subnet. Ping the printer if you can.
  3. Open the free label maker, pick that Zebra in Browser Print, set the real label size.
  4. Print one test. If USB works and WiFi does not, the design is fine. The network is not.

Connected to WiFi but not printing

The printer can have an IP and still ignore jobs if the head is open, it is paused, or Windows queued a raw job in the wrong language. Clear pause, close the head, then send ZPL via Browser Print instead of the Windows queue.

Print or save

Zebra thermal: print from the browser with Browser Print at the printer’s DPI. Everyone else: download PNG, JPEG, SVG, PDF, or ZPL. JSON keeps the editable master.
