How to print Brother labels without P-touch Editor
- Open https://app.mylabelmaker.com/?template=brother-dk1201-address. No signup. The other sizes are on the Brother label templates page.
- Change the address or add a barcode. For a list, upload Excel or CSV, or a Google Sheet published as CSV. Click the column onto the label.
- Choose Print from this computer. Pick that DK or tape size in Brother's driver and turn scaling off.
- A 4x6 (DK-1241) needs a QL-1100, QL-1110NWB, or QL-1115NWB. A QL-800 cannot print it.
When to use which
Use this free label maker when
You want DK-1201, a 4x6, or a tape width, plus a spreadsheet, and you might print a DYMO or Zebra label in the same sitting. The Brother spreadsheet walk-through is the list version.
Stay with P-touch Editor when
You need cable flags, the tape cutter's own settings, or a database that already lives inside Brother's app. If that is the whole job, their editor is the one that speaks to the labeller.
