What Essentials 3 will and will not do

Essentials 3 designs a static label and can prompt you to type a value at print time. It will not attach Excel. It will not attach CSV as a record source. It will not attach Google Sheets. Zebra documents this: automate from a database or spreadsheet and you need Professional.

Shops hit this wall on day two. The first label was fine. The next 80 SKUs were not. The upgrade pitch is Pro. You do not have to take it for this job.
