Zebra ZD220 setup guide
The Zebra ZD220 is a popular budget desktop for 4×6 shipping and basic barcode work. This setup guide gets you from unboxing to free browser printing with mylabelmaker.

Hardware setup
- Place the printer on a stable surface near your packing station.
- Connect power and USB to your PC or Mac.
- Load direct-thermal media (often 4×6 for shipping). Align guides; close the head firmly.
- Feed/calibrate so the gap sensor finds the label edge — calibrate.
Software setup (free)
- Install Browser Print (Windows or Mac).
- Confirm the ZD220 appears in the Browser Print list.
- Open mylabelmaker → set size (e.g. 4×6) → set DPI (ZD220 is typically 203).
- Print a test ship-to or barcode label.
