Print Etsy and eBay shipping labels on Zebra thermal printers

Published: · 8 min read

Etsy and eBay sellers who ship in volume often outgrow platform PDF labels. A Zebra ZD421 or GK420d with 4×6 stock costs pennies per label and prints in seconds. mylabelmaker lets you design shipping layouts once, pull order data from CSV exports, and batch-print — no BarTender license, works on Mac.

Export orders from Etsy

Shop Manager → Orders → select open orders → Download CSV. Key columns: buyer_name, ship_address1, ship_city, ship_state, ship_zipcode, order_id. If you use Pirate Ship or Shippo for discounted USPS labels, export their CSV with tracking numbers instead.

Export orders from eBay

Seller Hub → Orders → Download report (CSV). Map Buyer Name, address fields, and Order Number to simple headers like name, address1, city, state, zip, order_id.

Design the label in mylabelmaker

  1. Open app.mylabelmaker.com, set 4×6 in artboard.
  2. Load a Shipping template (Shopify or UPS style works as a starting layout).
  3. Replace ship-to lines with {{name}}, {{address1}}, {{city}} {{state}} {{zip}}.
  4. Add order ref: Order {{order_id}} and tracking barcode {{tracking}} if available.
  5. Paste CSV in Variables panel, preview each row, Print.

Full CSV workflow: print labels from Excel/CSV. Multi-channel sellers also ship Amazon FBA — see FBA labels guide.
