How to print 4x6 labels
You can print 4x6 labels on a thermal printer with the free label maker. 4×6 is the default for USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Set the size, print one test, then the stack. No paid desktop software.

What you need
- A 4×6-capable thermal printer (Zebra ZD420/421/620, GX420d, and similar)
- Direct-thermal 4×6 stock (gap or black-mark), shop packs
- The free browser designer: mylabelmaker
- Zebra Browser Print to print from this computer
How to print 4x6 labels
- Open the free label maker. No signup.
- Load 4×6 roll or fanfold, align the sensors, close the lid. Calibrate if labels skip, calibration guide.
- Set the artboard to 4×6 and match DPI, usually 203.
- Add ship-to fields: name, address, city/state/ZIP, optional barcode.
- Print one test, then batch from an order CSV when you're ready.

Good to know: Prepaid postage barcodes come from your carrier or rate tool. Design ship-to layouts and internal tracking here. Don't forge carrier tracking barcodes.
