How to print 4×6 shipping labels
If you ship from home or a warehouse in the US, 4×6 thermal labels are the default for USPS, UPS, and FedEx. This guide shows how to print 4×6 labels on a Zebra printer without paid desktop software.

What you need
- A 4×6-capable thermal printer (Zebra ZD420/421/620, GX420d, etc.)
- Direct-thermal 4×6 stock (gap or black-mark) — shop packs

Step-by-step: print a 4×6 label
- Load media — open the cover, drop in 4×6 roll or fanfold, align sensors, close lid.
- Calibrate if labels skip — calibration guide.
- Set artboard to 4×6 in mylabelmaker and match DPI (usually 203).
- Design ship-to fields — name, address, city/state/ZIP, optional barcode. Use a shipping template if you want a head start.
- Print one test, then batch from order CSV when ready — batch print.
