You can design a 4x6 pack face in the browser: the name, the address, and a barcode you already have. Design it in the label maker. This page does not buy postage. The carrier still sells the stamp.

4x6 label size

The face is 4 inches wide and 6 inches tall. A 4 inch Zebra printer and a Rollo both take that roll. At 203 dpi the printer wants 812 by 1218 dots. At 300 dpi, 1200 by 1800. At 600 dpi, 2400 by 3600. The blank size, without the ship-to layout, is on Zebra 4x6.

How to print a 4x6 pack face

  1. Open https://app.mylabelmaker.com/?template=zebra-4x6-shipping. No signup.
  2. The label is already 4 x 6. Type the ship-to name and address, or upload Excel, a CSV, or a Google Sheet you published as CSV. One row becomes one label.
  3. Add a barcode only if you already have the number. This app does not issue a tracking number.
  4. On a Zebra, install Browser Print once from Zebra and restart the browser. On a Rollo, choose Print from this computer, pick this size, and leave scaling off.

Questions about 4x6 shipping labels

Will this print a USPS, UPS, or FedEx label?

It prints the face you design. It does not log into a carrier or pay for postage. If the carrier gave you a PDF, print that PDF at actual size. Use this page for a pack face you control.

Is a 4x6 DYMO label the same roll?

No. DYMO 1744907 is a 4 x 6 label for a LabelWriter 4XL only. A Zebra or Rollo 4x6 is a different roll. Open the template that matches the printer on the desk.

Do I need an account?

No. The list stays in this browser.

A 4x6 pack face, without postage

Open the Shopify shipping template. It is a 4 x 6 inch face, the size a Zebra, a Rollo, or a Munbyn 4-inch printer feeds from a roll. At 203 dpi that face is 812 dots wide and 1218 dots long. You type the ship-to name and the street. You do not buy a stamp here.

A thermal roll prints one label, then feeds the next. If you are on a laser or inkjet, two 4 x 6 labels fit side by side on US Letter: 4 plus 4 is 8 inches, and the sheet is 8.5, so a small margin remains. They do not stack two high on letter paper, because 12 inches is taller than 11. Leave scaling off. Fit to page shrinks the barcode and the carrier scanner misses it.

Munbyn, Rollo, and a 4-inch Zebra all take the same 4 x 6 direct-thermal roll for this job. The words on the face can match. The driver does not. Zebra can take the ZPL through Browser Print. Rollo and Munbyn use Print from this computer, with the driver set to 4 x 6 and scaling off. A 2-inch desktop Zebra cannot feed this roll.

Postage stays with the carrier. If Vinted, UPS, USPS, or FedEx gave you a PDF, print that PDF at actual size. The steps for a Vinted PDF are in print Vinted labels on 4x6. Use this page for a pack face you write yourself: a shop order, a bin transfer, a gift note with an address.

The blank size, dots and all, is on Zebra 4x6 labels. Loading the roll and the first calibration are in how to print shipping labels on a Zebra. If you are still choosing the printer, start with a 4x6 thermal printer and then come back to the template.

Check one label before you print the pile. A long apartment line should wrap inside the 4 inch width. A barcode only belongs here when you already have the number. This app does not issue a tracking number, and it does not log into a carrier account.
