Shippo is a multi-carrier API and dashboard popular with US Shopify and marketplace brands. Most Shippo volume prints as 4×6 thermal on Zebra desktops. Use Shippo for rates and postage; use free mylabelmaker when you need custom thermal designs or spreadsheet-driven pack labels.

Official Shippo labels → Zebra

  1. In Shippo, create labels for USPS / UPS / FedEx as needed.
  2. Choose 4×6 label format.
  3. Print to your Zebra (thermal driver or PDF actual-size — never scale to letter).
  4. Confirm DPI and media match your stock (203 DPI on most ZD420 units).

Setup: Browser Print, ZD420.

Custom / batch labels with free software

  2. Open app.mylabelmaker.com.
  3. Design 4×6 with {{name}}, address fields, {{tracking}}.
  4. Load CSV → preview → batch print.

Developers using Shippo’s API can design templates in mylabelmaker, export ZPL, and inject variables in their backend. Guide: ZPL for ERP.
Official prepaid labels come from Shippo/carriers. mylabelmaker is for designs and data you control.
