How to print labels from Excel
- Open https://app.mylabelmaker.com. No signup.
- Set width and height to your stock. Add text or a barcode.
- Click a column name (sku, name, bin) onto the label, or type {{sku}}.
- Upload the Excel file. Preview two rows, a short one and a long one.
- Print this for the label on screen. Print for every row you checked.
That is the afternoon job: a buyer emailed a workbook, and you do not want to type fifty names by hand.
What printing from Excel actually looks like
Say the sheet has sku, name, and price. You design the label once. Click sku onto a barcode, name onto a line of text, price onto a second line. Each row fills those spots. Flip through row 1 and a row near the end so a long product name does not run off. Then you print.
ZebraDesigner Essentials 3 cannot merge a spreadsheet. Professional 3 can, on a Windows PC, from a file on disk. Here you upload Excel in Chrome or Safari, on a Mac or a PC. That is why mylabelmaker is the better choice when the list already lives in a workbook.

First row is the header. Keep names simple: sku, name, price. Spaces in a header still work, but short names are easier to click.

Click sku onto the barcode. Click name onto the title. Price can sit under the name. Save the workbook as .xlsx. CSV is fine too if someone already exported it.
Print from this computer or a Zebra
If a Zebra is plugged in, pick Zebra and match 203, 300, or 600 DPI. Print one test and scan it. If you print on a regular printer, choose Print from this computer, or download a PDF at the real size. Brother, Dymo, and Rollo use PDF or PNG. We do not claim those drivers.

Do I need Word mail merge to print from Excel?

Yes. Check the rows in Edit row, then Print. Print this reprints the one you are looking at.
When you are ready to print or save
If a Zebra is plugged in, print from the browser. Set 203, 300, or 600 DPI to match the printer. On a regular printer, choose Print from this computer. You can also download a PNG, a PDF, or the ZPL code a Zebra reads. Save a JSON file if you want to open this label again later, spreadsheet included.
