Print UPC product barcode labels on Zebra printers
US retail and e-commerce brands need scannable UPC-A stickers for store shelves, marketplaces, and POS. A Zebra thermal printer plus free browser software beats Word-mail-merge and expensive label suites for most small catalogs.
UPC-A basics (quick)
- 12 digits including check digit
- Used across US retail (vs EAN-13 more common internationally)
- Must be valid — scanners reject bad check digits

Design a product label
- Open app.mylabelmaker.com.
- Size: 2×1 or 2.25×1.25 for most product stickers; 3×2 if you need price + name + bars.
- Add barcode → format UPC-A → value

Print one sample and scan with a phone or POS scanner before a full run. Leave quiet zones (blank margins) on both sides of the UPC.
Retail + food packaging
For packaged food, pair UPC with nutrition panels: nutrition facts labels. For internal SKUs that are not GS1 UPCs, use CODE128 — inventory labels.
Amazon / Walmart product labels

GS1 compliance: mylabelmaker prints the barcode you provide. You must own or license valid UPC numbers (GS1 or authorized reseller). The software does not issue UPC company prefixes.
