Print return labels on a Zebra printer

Published: · 9 min read · Tutorial

New here? Start with create and print labels online free — the hub for design, barcodes, shipping, and thermal print setup. Also: free label maker software · full site map.

Returns need clear return-to addresses, RMA numbers, and sometimes prepaid carrier faces. Zebra desktops handle the thermal stickers; free browser software handles the design and batch.

Two kinds of “return labels”

Do not invent carrier barcodes. Use official return postage from your returns tool; use mylabelmaker for RMA/address layouts you own.

Free RMA / return-address workflow

  1. Export returns from Shopify, Loop, AfterShip, Excel, etc. as CSV (order #, RMA, customer name, reason).
  2. Open app.mylabelmaker.com.
  3. Choose size — 4×6 for large pack faces, 2×1 / 3×2 for bag tags.
  4. Layout: “RETURN TO” block, {{rma}}, {{order_id}}, barcode on RMA.
  5. Import CSV → batch print via Browser Print.

Batch mechanics: batch print. Address mail-merge: address labels.

Pair with outbound shipping

Same Zebra that prints outbound 4×6 can print returns the same day. Guides: shipping · Shopify.
