How to print Zebra labels from Chrome
Yes. You can print Zebra labels from Chrome without installing ZebraDesigner. Open the free label maker, design the sticker, and send it with Zebra Browser Print over USB or the network. Chrome is the smoothest browser on most packing desks. No signup.
What you need
- Google Chrome on Windows or Mac
- A Zebra thermal printer with media loaded (ZD420, ZD421, GK420d, or similar)
- Free Zebra Browser Print on the same computer
- The editor at https://app.mylabelmaker.com
How to print Zebra labels from Chrome
- Install Browser Print from Zebra and leave the tray app running.
- Connect the printer. USB is easiest for a first test. Ethernet or WiFi on the same LAN works too.
- Open Chrome, then https://app.mylabelmaker.com. Allow the helper if Chrome asks.
- Choose label size and DPI. Add text, a barcode, or a QR code.
- Click Print, pick the Zebra, send a test label.
If the printer list is empty, restart Browser Print, unplug and replug USB, then refresh the app. See printer not connecting.
Chrome print dialog vs Browser Print
Chrome's system Print dialog on a PDF often gives you the wrong size, gray barcodes, or Letter scaling. Browser Print sends native ZPL at the printer's DPI. That path scans and peels cleanly. Related: PDF shipping labels on Zebra.
