Print QR code labels on Zebra thermal printers
QR codes pack URLs, WiFi credentials, serial numbers, or contact cards into a scannable square. Zebra thermal printers print them crisply at native DPI — if you generate them as real ZPL graphics, not blurry pasted images.
Add a QR code in the editor
- Left rail → Add QR.
- Enter content: URL (
https://yoursite.com/product/123), plain text, or{{url}}for batch. - Resize the QR element — minimum ~0.75 in for reliable phone scans at 203 DPI.
- Add caption text below with
{{product_name}}if batching from CSV.
Common QR label use cases
- Product labels — QR links to product page; UPC barcode alongside for retail scanners
- WiFi guest networks —
WIFI:T:WPA;S:NetworkName;P:password;;format - Asset tracking — QR encodes asset ID; batch from inventory sheet
- Event badges — unique QR per attendee row for check-in
- Donation / support — payment or tip links on packaging
Batch print unique QR per row
Put {{qr_url}} in the QR panel value field. Load spreadsheet with one URL per row. Preview row 3 of 200 before printing. Same workflow as Google Sheets batch print.
Scan test: Print one label, scan with iPhone Camera. If it hesitates, increase QR size or bump printer darkness (+2 in settings).
