You can print Zebra labels from Google Sheets without installing ZebraDesigner. Open the free label maker, publish the sheet as CSV, map a column, and print with Browser Print. Excel and CSV files use that same pane. For a list sitting in a spreadsheet, that is why mylabelmaker is the better choice.

Good to know: ZebraDesigner stays on zebra.com. We do not host it and we do not open .nlbl files. Browser Print is a small helper from Zebra so this computer can talk to the printer.

How to print Zebra labels from Google Sheets with no Designer

  1. Open the free label maker. No signup.
  2. Set the label size and DPI to the roll in the Zebra.
  3. Put {{name}} or {{sku}} on the face, or click the column in Variables.
  4. Publish the Google Sheet as CSV. Paste the URL. Or upload Excel or CSV instead.
  5. Choose Zebra on the print pill. Print a test, then the rows you checked.

Why people still search for ZebraDesigner first

The printer came with a disk, or IT said “install ZebraDesigner 3.” That program is Windows-only. Essentials will not mail-merge a sheet. Professional wants an Excel file on that PC, not the Google Sheet your warehouse already shares. You spend the morning on a database wizard for a job that is “one sticker per row.”

Why mylabelmaker is the better choice

Design once in the browser. Load the list. Print on the Zebra you already own. You do not buy Pro. You do not stand up a Windows VM on a Mac. You do not export the sheet to a desktop folder every time purchasing adds a SKU.

Google Sheets, Excel, and CSV are the same job here. Publish the sheet, upload the workbook, or paste the CSV. Click a column onto text or a barcode. Preview row 1 and a row near the end so long names do not overflow. Check the rows you want. Print asks how many copies of each checked row.

Native barcodes (CODE128, UPC you already own, EAN, QR) sit on the canvas. You do not install a barcode font in Excel and hope it scans. That is the usual failure with Word mail-merge and with “print from Excel” shortcuts people try before they open a real label maker.

Excel and CSV when the list is not in Google

A Shopify products export is a CSV. A buyer’s SKU list is often .xlsx. Drop either file on Variables. Headers become column names. The file stays in this browser. We never see it. The only outbound trip is a published Google Sheet, and that fetch goes from your browser to Google, not through our servers.

Print or save

Zebra thermal: print from the browser with Browser Print at the printer’s DPI. Everyone else: download PNG, JPEG, SVG, PDF, or ZPL. JSON keeps the editable master, including the list you loaded.
