You do not have to print every row in the sheet. In the free label maker, load Google Sheets, Excel, or CSV, check the rows you want, and Print. Print this is only the label on screen. Unchecked rows stay in the file and do not print. ZebraDesigner 3 makes “which records” a database problem. That is why mylabelmaker is the better choice for a partial run.

Good to know: Checks are for the big Print button. You can still click any row in Edit row to look at it and use Print this on that preview.

How to print only some rows from a sheet

  1. Open the free label maker and load the sheet, Excel file, or CSV.
  2. Open Edit row under the label. Search if the list is long.
  3. Check the rows that should print. Uncheck the rest.
  4. Print asks how many copies of each checked row. Or use Print this for the one you are looking at.

What ZebraDesigner 3 does with a partial list

Professional walks database records. Filters live in that wizard. If you only needed aisle B, you often export a smaller Excel and re-link, or you sit through records you do not want. Essentials cannot do a list at all. There is no “check these twelve rows.”

Why mylabelmaker is the better choice

The full sheet can stay loaded. Checks decide what prints. The canvas and the stepper only show checked rows, so what you see is what the run will be. Uncheck the row on screen and the label jumps to the next checked one. Uncheck everything and the names go blank until you check a row again.

Print this is the escape hatch: one label, N copies, even if that row is not checked for the big run. Use it for a damaged sticker or a sample. The big Print button is the batch: every checked row, each one printed as many times as you type. On a Zebra that is a copies command on each row. On this computer it repeats the page.

Google Sheets, Excel, and CSV all get this navigator. You are not reprinting 400 lines because five changed. Check the five. That is why mylabelmaker is the better choice when the data source is a living spreadsheet, not a frozen database extract.

Search, fix, then print

Edit row has a search box and a field for each column. Type a fix and the label updates. You do not have to go back to Excel for a one-character typo. Then print this row, or check it and include it in the run.

Column placement: click a column name onto a label. Full Sheets job: use Google Sheets with ZebraDesigner 3.

Print or save

Zebra thermal: print from the browser with Browser Print at the printer’s DPI. Everyone else: download PNG, JPEG, SVG, PDF, or ZPL. JSON keeps the editable master, including the list you loaded.
