Sit down and try it: app.mylabelmaker.com. No account. Make one label tonight, or print a whole list from Excel or Google Sheets when you need it.

If ZebraDesigner Professional 3 is too complicated, you're not wrong. You wanted one label per Excel row. You got a Windows install, a database wizard, and a file that has to live on that PC. Open the free label maker. Click a column. Upload the sheet. Print. Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox.

Good to know: Professional 3 is still the right buy for RFID, .nlbl files, and formats stored in the printer. For a spreadsheet and a Zebra, you can skip it.

How to print Zebra labels without Professional 3's wizard

  1. Open the free label maker. No account.
  2. Set size and DPI. Design the label on the screen.
  3. Click a column. Load Excel, CSV, or a published Google Sheet.
  4. Print to the Zebra. That's the merge, without the wizard.

Shops buy Professional because Essentials can't merge a sheet. Then they sit in a wizard that feels like IT homework. The packing table didn't need that.

What feels complicated in ZebraDesigner Professional 3

Windows only. A database source instead of “here's my Excel.” Re-linking when the file moves. No live Google Sheets. Keyboard variable fields mixed in with database fields. It's powerful plant software. It's a lot, if you just needed 80 bin labels.

Here the spreadsheet is a file or a published URL. The buttons say Print this and Print. Mac works. You don't pay. That's the simple version of the Professional job.

When you're ready to print or save

If a Zebra is plugged in, print from the browser. Set 203, 300, or 600 DPI to match the printer. On a regular printer, choose Print from this computer. You can also download a PNG, a PDF, or the ZPL code a Zebra reads. Save a JSON file if you want to open this label again later, spreadsheet included.

Skip the wizard

Excel in. Labels out. No Professional maze.
