Sit down and try it: app.mylabelmaker.com. No account. Make one label tonight, or print a whole list from Excel or Google Sheets when you need it.

You can print from Excel without ZebraDesigner Professional. Essentials 3 won't attach a spreadsheet. Professional will, on Windows, if you buy it. Open the free label maker, click a column onto the label, upload the workbook, and print one label per row. No signup.

Good to know: We don't open ZebraDesigner .nlbl files. Rebuild the label once, then let Excel fill each row.

How to print from Excel without ZebraDesigner Professional

  1. Open the free label maker. Set size and DPI.
  2. Add a barcode or text. Click the column names from your sheet.
  3. Upload the Excel file. First row is the header.
  4. Preview two rows. Print this for one, or Print for the rows you checked.

That's the moment people look at the Professional price: the list is already in Excel, and Essentials just stares at you.

Why ZebraDesigner Professional 3 wants money for Excel

Zebra's own help is blunt. Automate from a spreadsheet and you need Professional. Even then the file lives on that Windows PC. When someone updates the shared workbook, you download it again and often re-link. Google Sheets isn't a source.

Here the workbook never leaves this browser. We don't see it. Click sku onto a barcode. Print. If the list is a Google Sheet, publish CSV and paste the URL. That's printing from Excel without ZebraDesigner Professional, and it works on a Mac too.

Check only the rows you need

Professional walks database records. Here you search in Edit row, check aisle B, and print those. Print this reprints one torn label. Copies apply to each checked row.

When you're ready to print or save

If a Zebra is plugged in, print from the browser. Set 203, 300, or 600 DPI to match the printer. On a regular printer, choose Print from this computer. You can also download a PNG, a PDF, or the ZPL code a Zebra reads. Save a JSON file if you want to open this label again later, spreadsheet included.
