Save a label as JPG

Published: · 3 min read · How-to
Do this in the free app: app.mylabelmaker.com. No signup. Design the label, then print on a Zebra or download PNG / PDF / ZPL.

Open product sticker template

Save a label as JPG: design it in the free label maker, then Options and Download JPEG. You get a white-background picture. Use it in email, a listing, or another print app.

Good to know: JPG compresses photos well. Barcodes stay cleaner as PNG. If a scanner will read the file, prefer PNG. Keep JSON if you will edit later.

How to download a label as JPG

  1. Open the free label maker.
  2. Set the size in inches.
  3. Add text, barcode, or QR.
  4. Options, then Download JPEG.

JPG vs PNG vs PDF

JPG: smaller, white background, some listings want it. PNG: sharp bars. PDF: print at actual size. All three sit under Options.

PNG: save as PNG. JPEG twin: save as JPEG.

Print or save

Zebra thermal: print from the browser with Browser Print at the printer’s DPI. Everyone else: download PNG, JPEG, SVG, PDF, or ZPL. JSON keeps the editable master.
