Yes. You can print UPC labels from Excel. Put the 12-digit UPC in a column formatted as Text, map it to a real UPC barcode in the free label maker, then print 2x1 stickers. Checkout scanners want UPC-A, not a CODE128 of your SKU. No signup.

Good to know: You must own or be licensed to use those UPCs. We do not issue GS1 company prefixes.

How to print UPC labels from Excel

  1. Open https://app.mylabelmaker.com and set the size to your stock. 2x1 is common.
  2. Add a native UPC barcode (not an Excel font). Map the column, for example {{code}}. Format that column as Text so leading zeros survive.
  3. Preview row 1 and a row near the end of the sheet.
  4. Print the stack on a Zebra, or download PNG, PDF, or ZPL.

If Excel shows 11 digits

Excel often drops a leading zero. Fix the column before you print or the UPC is invalid. Keep all 12 digits, including the check digit.
