Good to know: Use the asset ID your checkout sheet already uses. A second number on the tool causes missing-gear fights.
How a rental yard prints tags from the book
- Headers: asset, name, bay.
- Open the free label maker. Set 2x1 or 3x2.
- CODE128 with {{asset}}. {{name}} large. {{bay}} small.
- Upload the Excel file. Tag two drills. Scan. Print the rest.

First row is the header. Those header words go inside the curly braces on the label, like {{asset}}.

Print or save
Zebra thermal: print from the browser with Browser Print at the printer’s DPI. Everyone else: download PNG, JPEG, SVG, PDF, or ZPL. JSON keeps the editable master.
