ZebraDesigner does not run on a Mac. Word mail merge is awkward on thermal rolls. On a Mac, open the free label maker in Chrome or Safari, upload the Excel file, print.

Good to know: Safari needs a one-time visit to https://localhost:9101 to trust Browser Print. Chrome is usually simpler.

How to print an Excel list on a Mac

  1. Open the free label maker on the Mac.
  2. Set the label size. Place {{tokens}} from your headers.
  3. Variables, Upload the .xlsx file.
  4. Zebra: Browser Print. Other printers: Download PDF, print actual size from Preview.

Excel for Mac vs a CSV export

Print or save

Zebra thermal: print from the browser with Browser Print at the printer’s DPI. Everyone else: download PNG, JPEG, SVG, PDF, or ZPL. JSON keeps the editable master.
