Print labels from Excel on a Mac
Do this in the free app: app.mylabelmaker.com. No signup. Design the label, then print on a Zebra or download PNG / PDF / ZPL.
ZebraDesigner does not run on a Mac. Word mail merge is awkward on thermal rolls. On a Mac, open the free label maker in Chrome or Safari, upload the Excel file, print.
Good to know: Safari needs a one-time visit to https://localhost:9101 to trust Browser Print. Chrome is usually simpler.
How to print an Excel list on a Mac
- Open the free label maker on the Mac.
- Set the label size. Place {{tokens}} from your headers.
- Variables, Upload the .xlsx file.
- Zebra: Browser Print. Other printers: Download PDF, print actual size from Preview.
Excel for Mac vs a CSV export
Upload .xlsx directly, or File, Save As, CSV if the sheet is simple. Related: Zebra designer for Mac · 4x6 on Mac · free label software for Mac.
Print or save
Zebra thermal: print from the browser with Browser Print at the printer’s DPI. Everyone else: download PNG, JPEG, SVG, PDF, or ZPL. JSON keeps the editable master.
