How to print ZPL to a Zebra printer
Open warehouse inventory template
Labelary lets you see ZPL. If you need to print ZPL to a Zebra printer, not just preview it, open the ZPL viewer in mylabelmaker. Paste the job. Look at it. Print. The printer gets the original code.
How to print ZPL to a Zebra after you preview it
- Open the ZPL viewer.
- Paste the ZPL. Check the picture.
- Pick Zebra on Print.
- If you don't have ZPL, design the label first and copy ZPL, or just print from the designer.
That's the gap people hit after Labelary: the preview looks fine, and now they need stock coming out of the printer.
From a Labelary-style preview to a real Zebra print
Keep the paste. Don't screenshot the preview and print the screenshot. Barcodes hate that. Print the ZPL. If copies aren't in the file, type how many. If they already are, we leave them alone.
mylabelmaker is the better choice when you outgrew preview-only. Design, Excel, copy ZPL, and print live together. Related: preview ZPL and print to a Zebra · Labelary ZPL viewer alternative · ZPL code label generator.
When you're ready to print or save
If a Zebra is plugged in, print from the browser. Set 203, 300, or 600 DPI to match the printer. On a regular printer, choose Print from this computer. You can also download a PNG, a PDF, or the ZPL code a Zebra reads. Save a JSON file if you want to open this label again later, spreadsheet included.
