Print labels from Apple Numbers on a Mac

Do this in the free app: Open https://app.mylabelmaker.com. No signup. Design the label, then print on a Zebra or download PNG, PDF, or ZPL.

Numbers is a fine table. It is a bad label surface. File, Export to CSV, then open the free label maker in Safari or Chrome. Map the columns and print with Browser Print. You do not need ZebraDesigner on a Mac.

Good to know: Numbers does not talk to a Zebra by itself. We do not import .numbers files. CSV only.

How to print labels from Apple Numbers on a Mac

  1. Open https://app.mylabelmaker.com. No signup. Set the size of your stock.
  2. Export CSV from Numbers (not a PDF of the sheet). Add text or a native barcode and map the column, for example {{code}}.
  3. Preview row 1 and a row near the end of the sheet.
  4. Print the stack on a Zebra, or download PDF or ZPL.

Why not print straight from Numbers

Page setup in Numbers is built for Letter paper. A 2×1 or 4×6 thermal label needs an exact artboard and a native barcode. Related: Mac Zebra print guide.
