Sit down and try it: app.mylabelmaker.com. No account. Make one label tonight, or print a whole list from Excel or Google Sheets when you need it.

Open warehouse inventory template

A custom size label maker online should let you type inches, not pick from a tiny menu. Open the free label maker, set width and height, and design on that size. 2x1 for a barcode. 4x6 for shipping. A circle for a lid. Print from this computer or a Zebra. Excel and Google Sheets fill each row when you have a list.

Good to know: The label on screen is the stock. If it doesn't match the roll, the print will cut off. Set DPI to 203, 300, or 600 when you use a Zebra.

How to make a custom label size online for free

  1. Open the free label maker.
  2. Type width and height in inches. Pick 203, 300, or 600 DPI if you print on a Zebra.
  3. Add text, a barcode, a QR, a logo. Load a sheet if each label should change.
  4. Print, or download PNG or PDF at that size. Print PDFs at actual size, not fit-to-page.

You don't need a template that happens to be close. You need the size that's in the printer or on the sticker paper.

Type any custom label size in inches

Two by one for a barcode. Three by two for a bin. Four by six for a pack face. A round lid. The white rectangle is that size. Zoom in if it's tiny. Snap helps edges line up. Group a barcode and its caption so they move as one.

Wrong size is the usual mess: half a label, a gap, bars cut off. Measure the stock. Set the app to match. Then design.

Custom size, then a list from Excel or Google Sheets

Once the size is right, a spreadsheet is just more of the same label. Click a column. Load Excel or a published Google Sheet. Preview a long name on that small 2x1 so you know it fits. Print the rows you checked.

mylabelmaker is the custom size label maker online for when the roll isn't a standard Avery sheet. Related: custom label size in inches · inches to dots.

When you're ready to print or save

If a Zebra is plugged in, print from the browser. Set 203, 300, or 600 DPI to match the printer. On a regular printer, choose Print from this computer. You can also download a PNG, a PDF, or the ZPL code a Zebra reads. Save a JSON file if you want to open this label again later, spreadsheet included.

Set the size. Make the label.

Inches first. Then the words and the barcode.
