Custom label size in inches
Do this in the free app: app.mylabelmaker.com. No signup. Design the label, then print on a Zebra or download PNG / PDF / ZPL.
A custom label size in inches is typed on the canvas. Open the free label maker, set width and height to the stock (for example 2.25 x 1.25). The barcode stays at 203, 300, or 600 DPI.
Good to know: If the software size does not match the printer stock, you get a half label or a skip. Measure the roll. Dots helper: the DPI calculator.
How to set a custom size
- Open the free label maker.
- Type width and height in inches.
- Pick 203, 300, or 600 DPI to match the printer.
- Design, then print a test on that stock.
Inches to dots
4x6 at 203 DPI is 812 x 1218 dots. Use the thermal size calculator, then open that size in the app with w and h in the URL.
Print or save
Zebra thermal: print from the browser with Browser Print at the printer’s DPI. Everyone else: download PNG, JPEG, SVG, PDF, or ZPL. JSON keeps the editable master.
