Create internal SKU barcodes from Excel

Most warehouse SKUs are not retail UPCs. That is fine. Design one sticker in the free label maker. Use CODE128 on {{sku}}. Upload the list. Scanners at receiving and pick will read it.
Good to know: CODE128 is for internal tracking. Checkout at a grocery chain needs a UPC or EAN you bought from GS1. Do not invent a 12-digit UPC.
How to make internal SKU barcodes
- Headers: sku, name.
- Open the free label maker. Set 2x1.
- Barcode format CODE128. Value {{sku}}. Text {{name}}.
- Upload the Excel file. Scan with the gun you use on the floor. Print.

First row is the header. Those header words go inside the curly braces on the label, like {{sku}}.
