All in one Zebra label software. Free online

Published: · 7 min read · How-to
Sit down and try it: app.mylabelmaker.com. No account. Make one label tonight, or print a whole list from Excel or Google Sheets when you need it.

Open warehouse inventory template

mylabelmaker is the all in one Zebra label software for when you want to create labels fast. You're not keeping a designer, a ZPL viewer, and a print tool in three bookmarks. Open the free label maker. Draw the label, load Excel or Google Sheets, copy ZPL, preview pasted code, and print to a Zebra.

How to use all in one Zebra label software for free

  1. Open the free label maker. Set size and DPI to the Zebra.
  2. Design the label. Add a barcode. Load a sheet if each label should change.
  3. Copy ZPL or download ZPL from Options. Or open the ZPL viewer, paste a job, and look at the picture.
  4. Choose Zebra. Print a test, then the rows you checked.

If you've been exporting a picture from one site and printing it in another, you can stop. It's all here.

Design the label, then print from Excel or Google Sheets

Put text, a barcode, a QR (link, WiFi, or a contact card), a logo, shapes, or a small table on the label. Group things so they move together. Set inches and 203, 300, or 600 DPI. Then, if each label is a different SKU, load Excel, CSV, or a published Google Sheet. Click a column onto the label. One row, one label.

A parent printing birthday labels never has to open ZPL. A warehouse never has to open a party template. The tools sit together so you aren't saving a PNG just to print it somewhere else.

Copy ZPL from the label you designed, or view ZPL someone sent you

You draw. The app writes the ^XA to ^XZ job a Zebra reads, pictures included. Copy it into another warehouse program, or skip the code and just print. If someone emails you ZPL, paste it in the viewer. You see a picture on this computer. Print sends the original pasted job, not a rebuilt drawing, so unusual commands still reach the printer. The preview can miss odd commands. The print is still the text you pasted.

Pick This computer or Zebra, then save a file if you need one

The first time, Print asks which one. After that it remembers. If you have more than one Zebra, pick the name. Darkness and speed only show for Zebra, because they belong to that printer. Options is where PNG, PDF, ZPL, and JSON live. A spreadsheet run can be one PDF of every label, or a zip with one PDF per row.

More on generating code: design a label online and generate ZPL. More on paste-and-print: view ZPL and print to a Zebra.

When you're ready to print or save

If a Zebra is plugged in, print from the browser. Set 203, 300, or 600 DPI to match the printer. On a regular printer, choose Print from this computer. You can also download a PNG, a PDF, or the ZPL code a Zebra reads. Save a JSON file if you want to open this label again later, spreadsheet included.
