ZebraDesigner Professional 3 for Mac isn't a thing. It's a Windows program. If you're on a Mac and you need Excel lists and Zebra print, open the free label maker in Safari or Chrome. That's the free alternative. No virtual machine. No signup.

Good to know: A Zebra on a Mac still needs Zebra Browser Print, a small helper from Zebra. We don't host that download.

How to replace ZebraDesigner Professional 3 on a Mac

  1. On the Mac, open the free label maker.
  2. Set inches and DPI. Design the label. Add a barcode if you need one.
  3. Upload Excel or paste a published Google Sheet URL.
  4. Print from this computer, or choose Zebra if Browser Print is running.

Shops sometimes buy a cheap Windows PC just to run Professional 3. You don't have to, unless you need RFID or a .nlbl file.

When you're ready to print or save

If a Zebra is plugged in, print from the browser. Set 203, 300, or 600 DPI to match the printer. On a regular printer, choose Print from this computer. You can also download a PNG, a PDF, or the ZPL code a Zebra reads. Save a JSON file if you want to open this label again later, spreadsheet included.
