You can print barcode labels from a spreadsheet for free. Open the free label maker, put the SKU column on a real barcode (not an Excel font), load the sheet, and print one label per row. Excel, Google Sheets, and CSV all work. No signup.

Good to know: Use a real barcode on the label. A barcode font in Excel often won't scan. CODE128 is the usual shop code. UPC or EAN if you already own those digits.

How to print barcode labels from a spreadsheet

  1. Open the free label maker and set the label size and DPI.
  2. Add a barcode. Click the sku column, or type {{sku}} in the bars.
  3. Load Excel, a CSV, or a published Google Sheet.
  4. Preview a row. Scan a test if you can. Then print the rows you checked.

That's the packing-table version: the numbers already live in a sheet. You need bars that scan, not a pretty picture of a font.

Put the spreadsheet column on a real barcode

Click the barcode first, then click the column name, so the bars get the SKU and the name stays as text. Leave a little quiet space around the bars. Match 203, 300, or 600 DPI to the printer. Print one test and scan it before you use a whole roll.

CODE128 is what most shops use for internal codes. UPC and EAN if you already own the numbers. We don't issue GS1 prefixes. Data Matrix if the label is tiny. QR if a phone should open a link.

Excel, Google Sheets, or CSV, same barcode labels

Upload the workbook. Or publish a Google Sheet as CSV and paste the link. Or paste a CSV export. Keep the header named sku, or whatever you clicked onto the barcode. If only aisle B should print, check those rows. Print this reprints one torn label.
