Print auto parts barcodes from Excel
Do this in the free app: app.mylabelmaker.com. No signup. Design the label, then print on a Zebra or download PNG / PDF / ZPL.
A parts catalog export is part number, make, and bin. Design one sticker in the free label maker. Barcode {{part}}. Add {{name}}. Upload. Print the wall before the Saturday rush.
Good to know: Use the part number the catalog and the counter scan. Do not invent a second shop code unless you will scan that code.
How a shop prints parts stickers from a list
- Headers: part, name, bin.
- Open the free label maker. Set 2x1.
- CODE128 with {{part}}. {{name}} under it. {{bin}} in the corner.
- Upload the Excel file. Scan a filter you stock. Print.
Sample spreadsheet
A Friday restock for fast movers.
| part | name | bin |
|---|---|---|
| PH8A | Oil filter | W-12 |
| 24-60 | Cabin filter | W-14 |
| 96-08 | Air filter | W-08 |
First row is the header. Those header words go inside the curly braces on the label, like {{part}}.
Receiving the shipment first: receiving from a PO. Generic auto labels: automotive parts labels.
Print or save
