How to print labels from Google Sheets to a Zebra

Good to know: A regular Google share link won't load. Use File, Share, Publish to the web, comma-separated values (.csv). When the sheet changes, load it again.

How to print labels from Google Sheets to a Zebra

  1. In Google Sheets: File, Share, Publish to the web, CSV. Copy the link.
  2. Open the free label maker. Set size and DPI to the Zebra.
  3. Click column names onto text and a barcode. Paste the published URL.
  4. Preview a row. Choose Zebra. Print the rows you checked.

That's the warehouse version of mail merge. The sheet stays the truth. The Zebra prints the labels.

Why Google Sheets to Zebra labels doesn't need ZebraDesigner

ZebraDesigner 3 doesn't connect to Google Sheets. Essentials can't merge a spreadsheet at all. You'd export Excel, put it on a Windows PC, and re-link when someone edits the sheet. Here you publish CSV and paste the URL. Load again when the list moves.

Excel and CSV when the list isn't in Google

When you're ready to print or save

If a Zebra is plugged in, print from the browser. Set 203, 300, or 600 DPI to match the printer. On a regular printer, choose Print from this computer. You can also download a PNG, a PDF, or the ZPL code a Zebra reads. Save a JSON file if you want to open this label again later, spreadsheet included.
