QR code generator for labels

Published: · 3 min read · How-to
Do this in the free app: app.mylabelmaker.com. No signup. Design the label, then print on a Zebra or download PNG / PDF / ZPL.

Open QR label template

A QR code generator for labels should put the code on a sticker you can print. Open the QR tool, type a URL, click Generate. The QR is already on the canvas. Add a caption, set the inches, download JPG or PDF.

Good to know: This makes a static QR. The URL lives in the sticker. We do not track scans or host a short link.

How to generate a QR on a label

  1. Open the QR code generator or the app.
  2. Type the URL or text.
  3. Click Generate. The QR lands on a 3x2 inch label.
  4. Set your stock size, add a caption, then download or print.

Why a label, not only a PNG

PNG generators give you a square. A warehouse, table tent, or badge needs a size, a caption, and sometimes a logo. This path is the QR plus the sticker around it.

Print or save

Zebra thermal: print from the browser with Browser Print at the printer’s DPI. Everyone else: download PNG, JPEG, SVG, PDF, or ZPL. JSON keeps the editable master.
