1. Use the grid
Turn on the grid in label options and snap to it. Hold Shift while you drag if you want the snap to feel tighter. Arrow keys nudge a selected object. Group related pieces with Ctrl or Cmd + G so a name and barcode move together.
2. Size the QR so a phone can read it
Give a QR about 0.8 x 0.8 inches or more, and leave empty space around it. Test-scan one sticker before you print 200. URL, WiFi, and vCard all live in the QR tool in the same app.
3. Save a template you can hand off
Design the brand bits once. Options, Export label (JSON). That file is the layout, text, barcodes, and any spreadsheet you loaded. A teammate imports it. A PNG is only a picture. Send JSON if they need to change a price.
4. Shortcuts that are in the app
- Arrow keys: nudge
- Ctrl or Cmd + D: duplicate
- Ctrl or Cmd + G: group
- Ctrl or Cmd + C / V: copy and paste
- Ctrl or Cmd + P: print
- Delete: remove. Esc: deselect
5. Print one, then the stack
Match the inches and DPI to the stock. On a Zebra, Browser Print sends native ZPL. Print from this computer if you are on an office printer. Check darkness if a barcode looks gray. Then print the run.
